Growth Tip 7: Events that convert

BAD NEWS: Events can waste your time and resources 😓 . BUT…

Handled right you can win great work from old and new clients 🎆 .

Your events showcase your value but:-
…do the attendees know how much they need you 
…even if they know they need you, do they hold back 
…do they like and trust you enough to see you as their problem solver
…how do you help window shoppers become loyal followers

Some tips on making event worth the effort:

🎯 Target the right people e.g. decision makers not juniors after CPD
😥 Talk about problems they know they have
👩🏫Educate on problems they don’t e.g. shown by recent case law
📚Use stories to illustrate
🔑 Explain how you use the law to solve the above problems.
👨💼👩💼 Use a range of team members to show the depth of your squad
🛌 Rehearse till you could deliver in your sleep
💕 Don’t expect a kiss on the first date: New clients need time to know like and trust. With a series of events you can build a following. BUT…
🎁 Don’t be afraid to make an offer as an appetiser: e.g. a one off training at a fixed price: they might well go on to order a main course.
 Follow up in person. Follow up through updates. FOLLOW UP OR DIE
